IS CROSSFIT KIDS?
Crossfit Kids is a responsible strength and conditioning program designed for kids ages 10 and older and helps them develop a lifelong love of fitness.
The program combines age-appropriate weightlifting and gymnastics with training to deliver optimal fitness and performance.
Proper light weightlifting techniques are taught, under the watchful eye of our Crossfit certified trainers, to enhance strength and power, while also focusing on basic gymnastics to increase agility, mobility, and flexibility.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Crossfit kids class is an hour in duration and similar to an adult CrossFit class incorporating barbells, advanced movements and load appropriate for an individual’s developmental and skill level.
This is an excellent program for kids of all ages that would like to lead a more active lifestyle.
CrossFit Kids addresses all 10 of the general physical skills: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, accuracy, and balance.
Whether your kids are looking for a stand-alone strength and conditioning program, or additional training to supplement their sport specific training, Mt. Lebanon Crossfit Kids is committed to helping them achieve their goals in a fun, judgment free environment surrounded by your peers.
When are Classes?
Classes run Tuesday and Thursdays at 5:00pm.
