When/how did you find CrossFit? 
October 2013 – a friend/member kept asking me to come check it out. I was getting tired of my distance running and the associated injuries and needed to find something new. I loved it from the very first moment I tried it.

What made you want to be a Coach?
It had made such an impact on my view of what being “fit” and healthy was compared to how I had viewed it until then. It changed my view of body image and strength and not just getting/staying “skinny”. I loved learning all the amazing things my body could do regardless of age or gender. I wanted to be able to help others in their journey of being their best self.

What is your favorite part about coaching?
Just being around all the different athletes and individuals…. Getting to know the community and having a great time. Putting a smile on everyone’s face.

What do you like to do outside of the gym?
Be in the sun (especially a beach if possible), golfing, reading, movies (scary ones the most), watching my boys play ice hockey, and if it’s a miraculous day that we have nothing going on, I love laying around being lazy and enjoying every minute of it!

Anything else you would like to share?
If you’re new to this: cut yourself a break, be as consistent as possible, and don’t give up! I promise you won’t be disappointed, and guarantee you’ll make some amazing new friends in the process.
