- RKC Kettle Bell level 1.
When/how did you find CrossFit?
I found Crossfit a little more than five years ago and never looked back. I was immediately pulled in by the team like mentality that we are all here to help each other. I have always been an athlete playing baseball, wrestling, gymnastics, track, and soccer. I also found a love for the martial arts in Tang Soo Do, Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai. I have been a personal trainer for over 15 years and coached Muay Thai after earning my level one in the Thai Boxing Association of America.
What made you want to be a Coach?
I have always had a passion for fitness and sports. When I started Crossfit I found something that could link those two worlds together. When I witnessed the changes of not only the physical but mental capacity of those around me that first year. I knew I wanted to be part of that change and drive for others.
What is your favorite part about coaching?
The community! Being able to surround yourself with a group of like minded people that strive to be the best version of themselves is a wonderful thing. Being able to have a positive impact on the the way people live their lives is more than I could ever ask for as a coach.
What do you like to do outside of the gym?
Running, swimming, movies, good food, mountain biking, basically anything fun that allows me to spend as much time as I can with my Family and friends.
